Introducing the IntegraMed® Shared Risk® Refund Program
For those couples who do not have insurance coverage for advanced fertility treatment, paying for the services can be very challenging. The cost of IVF and the uncertainty regarding the outcome can be a major concern. The IntegraMed® Shared Risk® Refund Program, offered through Fertility Centers of Illinois , was developed to reduce a couple's financial anxiety by fixing the costs associated with multiple IVF cycles. This program limits the amount of money "at risk" and preserves capital for other family building options should IVF fail.
Fertility Centers of Illinois is pleased to offer this unique program as an alternative to traditional fee-for-service. Couples who qualify for the Shared Risk Refund Program may attempt up to three fresh IVF cycles for a fixed, discounted fee. If the attempts are unsuccessful or if treatment is discontinued, a substantial portion of your money will be refunded to you.

This new program differs from other refund programs:
- The Shared Risk Refund Program defines success as taking a baby home from the hospital.
- We're your partner for up to three IVF cycles. Patients who don't achieve success after one, or even two, cycle(s) have the comfort of knowing they can try again, without worrying about the costs.
- The Shared Risk Refund Program can be financed through our Financial Services program.
- If you don't realize your dream of having a baby, the Shared Risk Refund Program provides a refund of at least 70% so that you can pursue adoption, or consider other options.
