Meet the doctor behind the lab coat—and the heart behind the work.
Throughout my treatment at FCI, the Glenview clinic was my primary site of care. The facility itself is clean and new. The staff was fantastic! It felt like they were rooting for us with each step in our journey.
I appreciate that no two days are the same—each patient brings a new story, a new challenge, and a chance to think creatively. The field itself is constantly evolving, and staying on the leading edge of reproductive science keeps the work dynamic and intellectually engaging. Most of all, knowing that I’m helping someone take meaningful steps toward building their family—something I deeply value in my own life—makes the work incredibly rewarding.
It was the science that first drew me in. I’ve always been fascinated by how intricately the body is guided by hormones. But what truly confirmed that this was the right field for me was seeing how that science is applied in practice. Meeting couples, hearing their stories, and partnering with them to create thoughtful, personalized plans—grounded in evidence but shaped by their individual journeys—has been the most meaningful part of this work.
Taking time to understand each couple’s unique journey and goals to create a personalized plan forward is deeply fulfilling. And when those efforts lead to the family they dreamed of—whether it’s through meeting their baby or seeing a photo—it’s a profound reminder of how meaningful this work truly is.
I’m most proud of the relationships I build with my patients. I make it a point to understand who they are beyond the medical context. Getting to know my patients on a personal level helps me provide care that is truly tailored to their needs and values.
I’ve always been especially interested in fertility preservation, particularly egg freezing. The decision to freeze eggs is often a complex one, both emotionally and logistically, but it can also be incredibly empowering. The science behind freezing and thawing eggs is intricate, and I’ve researched IVF outcomes in couples using previously frozen eggs. I believe understanding this science—and setting appropriate expectations for patients pursuing this path—is critically important.
I encourage my patients to view challenges as hurdles—not roadblocks. Even when it feels like the odds are insurmountable, the vast majority of the time, we’re able to find a way forward. With the right support and medical care, we can often overcome those hurdles and help build the family they’ve been dreaming of.
I used to teach a mixed martial arts fitness class called Body Combat! To me, it was more than just an incredible workout—it was a tight-knit community that meant a lot to me. It was also during that time that my interest in OBGYN and REI began to take shape. I credit part of my path to becoming a reproductive health provider to those years of teaching and connecting with that community.
