Fertility Access Program
Fertility Access offers a variety of IVF Refund and Multi-Cycle Discount Programs that offer significant savings by bundling reduced fees upfront. Our programs also provide peace of mind, with refund options in the event treatment is unsuccessful. There are multiple options to suit patients’ unique treatment and financial needs.

Military Discounts
As the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) does not cover IVF treatment, veterans without commercial health insurance tend to face high costs.
FCI Veteran Discount To help veterans and their eligible family members get access to the fertility treatments they need, we offer a 25% discount for those who qualify.
Compassionate Corp Program EMD Serono offers discounts through the Compassionate Corp Program which provides free medication to eligible, uninsured veterans with service-related injuries and their spouses for up to two cycles per year. Those veterans who are not eligible are encouraged to apply for the Compassionate Care Program.
The Heart for Heroes Program Ferring Pharmaceuticals‘ Heart for Heroes program provides assistance to eligible medically separated veterans with service-related infertility requiring assisted reproduction, as well as patients and/or spouses without insurance coverage for IVF medications. Pharmaceutical companies are committed to helping patients understand and access financial assistance programs that may help make their medications more affordable.
EMD Serono
Compassionate Care Program offers a discount of up to 50% off select EMD Serono medications, depending on your income, when paying out of pocket for fertility treatment. This can be especially helpful for those who have limited insurance benefits. By paying out of pocket for the medications through the Compassionate Care Program, you can preserve your insurance coverage to pay for actual procedures.
GO Direct Program is another way to help with the high cost of medication is with the GO Direct program. This program can save you money on different Gonal-f® injections, Ovidrel® PreFilled Syringes, and Cetrotide® injection medications with every cycle.
Ferring Pharmaceuticals
HeART Tomorrow provides a discounted price for a select Ferring product for eligible cash-paying patients who are undergoing controlled ovarian stimulation (COS) for planned oocyte cryopreservation. Terms and conditions apply.
Heart for Heroes The Heart for Heroes program is for medically separated from active-duty Department of Defense category 2 or 3 veterans with a service-related injury resulting in infertility and requiring assisted reproduction, or patients and/or spouses with no insurance coverage for IVF medications. Terms and conditions apply. Qualifying patients must be residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. Heart Beat Heart Beat provides select fertility medications at no cost for eligible patients. Qualifying patients must be female, be a US citizen or permanent resident, have received a diagnosis of cancer, and have received no chemotherapy within the previous 12 months. Oncologists and reproductive endocrinologists are required to determine that fertility preservation treatment is medically appropriate. Terms and conditions apply.
Heart Felt HeartFelt can replace medications for eligible cash-paying patients, or up to $250 towards co-pay costs for eligible commercially insured patients whose controlled ovarian stimulation (COS) cycles were canceled due to a natural disaster resulting in a federal or state emergency. Merck
Follistim AQ Cartridge Coupon is available for eligible privately insured patients may follow these steps to save up to $300 off their out-of-pocket cost on up to 3 qualifying prescriptions for Follistim AQ Cartridge.
ReUnite Assist offers low prices at participating pharmacies with no need for coupons or rebates. And ReUnite RX Assist offers income-based discounts for uninsured patients.
Financing Options
Our goal is to offer you caring expertise through every step of your journey. Our financial coordinators will help you understand your insurance coverage and explore payment programs and discounts that can lessen your total cost. Even so, for many of our patients, the remaining costs can pose a challenge. Financing all or part of your treatment costs with a loan can help relieve the financial strain and make your dream of having a baby attainable.
FCI partners with CapexMD to offer flexible, accessible options for the costs associated with your fertility journey. Patients can take advantage of 0% interest for 6 month term loans and other loan options up to 84 month repayment term.
Grants
Grant Matching at FCI
We are proud to match fertility treatment grants provided to patients from non-profit organizations. We will match 100% of the grant value up to 25% of the service charge.*

The Chicago Coalition for Family Building works to reduce the physical and emotional burden of infertility through education and financial support. They offer fully funded IVF cycles, grants for surrogacy and adoption, and support for pre-implantation genetic testing to help prevent the transmission of inherited conditions. The Coalition is also committed to supporting LGBTQAI+ individuals and couples on their path to parenthood.
The Cade Foundation Family Building Grant is an annual award that provides up to $10,000 to needy, infertile families. These grants assist with the costs associated with infertility treatment or domestic adoption. Family Building Grants can take the form of a cash award that is payable directly to the clinic or agency or a medication award that will be sent to the fertility clinic of the recipient. The grants are available for medical treatment of infertility and child adoption. The fertility medication grant is provided through a generous donation from EMD Serono.
Chick Mission’s Hope Grant Program provides direct financial support to young women newly diagnosed with cancer, helping them preserve fertility before starting cancer treatment.
The Livestrong Fertility Discount Program partners with Fertility Centers to provide service discounts for qualifying cancer patients who wish to preserve their fertility. In addition, EMD Serono offers free stimulation medications to patients approved through the Livestrong Fertility Discount Program.
