Our Information on COVID-19

Your safety and success are our top priorities

COVID-19 Information

Updates to visit information at Fertility Centers of Illinois.

Preparing for Your Appointment

Before you come to your appointment, make sure you have no COVID-19 symptoms (cough, fever or chills, shortness of breath, fatigue, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, gastrointestinal symptoms). Face masks are encouraged when visiting an FCI clinic. Due to the sensitivity of our IVF care, we will still require masks in IVF areas at our Chicago River North and Highland Park offices.

About the Vaccine

With the vaccines now available all over, we have begun to receive questions from our patients about the use of this vaccine during both fertility treatment and pregnancy. As specialists in reproductive medicine, our goal is to keep you updated with the latest information available.

As with all new treatment options, professional medical societies review the available data and provide patient recommendations. The information regarding the use of the COVID-19 vaccine in fertility treatment and pregnancy is constantly evolving.

Please click the button below to read our FAQ on the COVID-19 vaccine. These have been updated on April 27, 2021.

Even though treatment is available, we appreciate there are many factors that determine if a patient desires to pursue treatment at this time. We strongly encourage all patients to contact your health care team to schedule a Zoom consultation with your physician to address likely questions this will raise for you, and/or your partner (if applicable), as you decide how to best proceed.

Please note insurance companies may not expedite approval in certain cases which may lead to a delay. As always, we appreciate your patience and understanding.
